Hahnemühle Photo Rag Duo combines a 100% cotton base with a white shade and a double-sided matte finish. Its smooth, soft feel with a lightly defined felt structure gives the finished print its surface character. Its 276 gsm cotton base is different from the 210 gsm alpha-cellulose Photo Matt Fibre Duo.

How is it different from Photo Matt Fibre Duo?

Photo Rag Duo is 276 gsm and 100% cotton. Photo Matt Fibre Duo is 210 gsm and 100% alpha-cellulose; both are double-sided, but they are different papers.

Does double-sided coating mean automatic duplex printing?

No. Both faces are printable, but automatic duplex feeding depends on the exact printer’s media limits and loading instructions. Check those before printing the second side.

What should I check before ordering for my printer?

Check the selected format, 276 gsm weight, thickness and loading path against your exact printer. A suitable ink coating does not establish that every size or roll will feed in every model.

Profiles, media settings and handling

For Photo Rag Duo, match the ICC profile to the exact printer, ink set and paper and follow the profile’s supplied driver media settings. A driver profile does not establish RIP support.
