Hahnemühle Torchon - a bright white, 100% α-cellulose paper – guarantees archival standards. This watercolour paper features a distinct textured surface. With its premium matt inkjet coating Torchon meets the highest industry standards regarding density, colour gamut, colour graduation and image sharpness while preserving the special touch and feel of genuine art paper.
The term "torchon" is taken from the French and means "coarse structure". The special surface texture of this bright white paper is a reminder of this. It can capture the timeless original beauty and three dimensionality of an artwork in its own special way.
