Why we like it
400 gsm matte inkjet canvas for fine art photographs.
Hahnemühle Daguerre Canvas combines a polyester-cotton blend base with a bright white shade and a matte finish. Its fine woven structure gives the finished print its surface character. A bright-white canvas for images where a neutral-looking highlight and fine weave are priorities.

Questions before you print
Is Daguerre pure cotton?
No. It is a 400 gsm polyester-cotton blend.
Is its surface metallic or glossy?
No. Daguerre has a matte coating. Canvas Metallic is a separate high-gloss product with a silvery surface effect.
What should I check before ordering for my printer?
Check the selected format, 400 gsm weight, thickness and loading path against your exact printer. A suitable ink coating does not establish that every size or roll will feed in every model.
Profiles, media settings and handling
For Daguerre Canvas, match the ICC profile to the exact printer, ink set and paper and follow the profile’s supplied driver media settings. A driver profile does not establish RIP support. Apply colour management once and make a small test print before a full run. Keep fingers away from the printable surface and protect prints from dust and abrasion.
