Hahnemühle Agave combines a 70% agave fibre / 30% cotton base with a white shade and a matte finish. Its rough, gently defined surface gives the finished print its surface character. The sisal-based sheet gives the image a tactile surface without optical brighteners.

Is Agave cotton rag?

Its base is 70% agave fibre and 30% cotton. It is not a 100% cotton paper.

Is Agave a glossy or brightened paper?

Agave has a matte inkjet coating and no optical brighteners. Choose a gloss baryta family if a reflective photographic surface is the priority.

What should I check before ordering for my printer?

Check the selected format, 290 gsm weight, thickness and loading path against your exact printer. A suitable ink coating does not establish that every size or roll will feed in every model.

Profiles, media settings and handling

For Agave, match the ICC profile to the exact printer, ink set and paper and follow the profile’s supplied driver media settings. A driver profile does not establish RIP support. Apply colour management once and make a small test print before a full run. Keep fingers away from the printable surface and protect prints from dust and abrasion.
