Why we like it
320 gsm matte inkjet canvas for everyday canvas photographs.
Hahnemühle Photo Canvas combines a polyester-cotton blend base with a bright white shade and a matte finish. Its fine, smooth weave gives the finished print its surface character. A 320 gsm canvas in the Photo range; it is not the heavier FineArt canvas formulation.

Questions before you print
Is it the same as Daguerre Canvas?
No. Photo Canvas is 320 gsm; Daguerre is a separate 400 gsm canvas. Shared bright-white matte descriptions do not make them the same formulation.
Is the fabric cotton only?
No. Photo Canvas uses a polyester-cotton blend with a fine, smooth weave.
What should I check before ordering for my printer?
Check the selected format, 320 gsm weight, thickness and loading path against your exact printer. A suitable ink coating does not establish that every size or roll will feed in every model.
Profiles, media settings and handling
For Photo Canvas, match the ICC profile to the exact printer, ink set and paper and follow the profile’s supplied driver media settings. A driver profile does not establish RIP support. Apply colour management once and make a small test print before a full run. Keep fingers away from the printable surface and protect prints from dust and abrasion.
