Our Expert Opinion
Description
Description
A heavily textured, mould-made cotton matte paper for expressive fine art prints.
Epson Legacy Textured uses a mould-made, 100% cotton base with a pronounced watercolour-paper texture and a matte finish. The coating is designed to accept a high ink load while producing deep blacks, a wide colour gamut and gentle tonal transitions. Choose it when you want the texture of the paper to be a visible part of the finished work.
At a glance
- Highly textured matte surface on a mould-made base.
- 100% cotton with no optical brightening agents.

Questions before you print
When should I choose Textured instead of a smoother matte paper?
Choose Textured when you want the paper surface to contribute visibly to the work. A smoother paper can be preferable when you want minimal surface texture. Make a test print when small detail or skin tones are central to the image.
Will this paper work with my printer?
Check the exact printer model, supported media thickness and loading method, not just the paper dimensions. Rolls also require the correct roll handling and core support. Tell Tricera your printer model and chosen size if you need help checking suitability.
Which ICC profile and media setting should I use?
Use the settings and ICC profile specified for the exact printer, ink and paper combination. Epson provides profiles through its printer support downloads. Follow the profile instructions and apply colour management only once in your print workflow.
Does archival paper guarantee a particular print life?
No. Print life depends on the ink and paper combination, lighting, display, handling and storage. Follow Epson’s media guidance and protect finished prints from surface damage. A general paper specification is not a print-life guarantee for every printing system.
