Our Expert Opinion

The go-to Duratrans replacement. Semi-matte finish with no hot spotting. Can't match Duratrans black density, but it's significantly more archivally stable. Used by retailers for backlit displays and artists for lightboxes.

Questions before you print

Is this the same as clear packaging film?

No. DisplayTrans II is intended for backlit displays. CrystalClear Film is intended for clear package proofing and prototypes. Choose for the lighting and end use of the finished graphic.

Will this paper work with my printer?

Check the exact printer model, supported media thickness and loading method, not just the paper dimensions. Rolls also require the correct roll handling and core support. Tell Tricera your printer model and chosen size if you need help checking suitability.

Which ICC profile and media setting should I use?

Use the settings and ICC profile specified for the exact printer, ink and paper combination. Epson provides profiles through its printer support downloads. Follow the profile instructions and apply colour management only once in your print workflow.

Primarily for screen printers and experimental projects. Key tip: there's a blue liner for alignment that you peel off after printing. Ink sits well without smearing, and black density is solid for screen printing applications.
Super-thin wallpaper with adhesive backing. Very pliable with strong hold that won't mark walls. Reposition once or twice before adhesive weakens. Matte finish delivers accurate colours. Used for temporary signage and art installations.

We know paper

We regularly test fine art and photographic papers from Epson, Hahnemühle, and Moab to better understand how different media perform with professional inkjet printers and pigment inks. While Tricera specializes in Epson printing systems, the Hahnemühle and Moab papers we carry are designed for use with any professional pigment inkjet printer, including Canon and HP, making them a strong option for photographers, print studios and production environments across Canada regardless of which printer brand they use.

Authorized Epson Pro Graphics Dealer in Canada

Tricera is a Canadian-owned authorized Epson Pro Graphics dealer specializing in Epson professional printers, genuine Epson inks, and a curated selection of fine art and photographic papers from Epson, Hahnemühle, and Moab. We work with print labs, universities, photographers, galleries and creative studios across Canada that depend on professional printing systems for reliable, high-quality output.

With more than 20 years of hands-on experience working with Epson Pro Graphics equipment, we do more than list specifications. We actively work with Epson printers and test many of the papers we sell in real production environments. That allows us to offer practical guidance based on actual use, including media selection, print application and workflow considerations.

Orders ship from Canadian warehouses, helping customers across Canada get product faster while avoiding cross-border delays, duties and exchange-related surprises. Canadian customers also benefit from full Epson Canada warranty support.
