Epson CrystalClear Film is designed for colour-critical package proofing and prototype work where a clear film is required. The guide specifies a 4.5 mil film with 11% opacity. It is a specialist proofing medium, so confirm that your printer, ink and RIP workflow support the exact film.

Is this ordinary paper or a backlit display film?

No. CrystalClear is a clear film intended for package proofing and prototypes. A backlit display medium has different requirements; choose the product intended for that application.

Will this paper work with my printer?

Check the exact printer model, supported media thickness and loading method, not just the paper dimensions. Rolls also require the correct roll handling and core support. Tell Tricera your printer model and chosen size if you need help checking suitability.

Which ICC profile and media setting should I use?

Use the settings and ICC profile specified for the exact printer, ink and paper combination. Epson provides profiles through its printer support downloads. Follow the profile instructions and apply colour management only once in your print workflow.

The go-to Duratrans replacement. Semi-matte finish with no hot spotting. Can't match Duratrans black density, but it's significantly more archivally stable. Used by retailers for backlit displays and artists for lightboxes.
